| The building of Khajeh Khezer Tomb in the old section of Birjand, is another outstanding building from the Ghajar period made in the typical Iranian mode of architecture. The façade is brickwork in different patterns. This building has an atrium, decorative roofing on two sides of the court. The brickwork of this portico is characteristic and beautiful. After the portico, one enters the atrium and court. On the north side of the court there is an ivan with an impressive brick roof. |
