Mosque and temple of Shah Sanjan
25 kilometers far from paved road of Torbat-Heydareyeh to Khaf near the Sangan village there are ruins of mosque and temple of Rokn-o-Den Mahmood Sanjani. He was the religious leader in 6 century. This architectural complex is consists of two buildings which located in the western corner od shah Sangan temple and eastern corner of mosque. The only thing which remained from this building is a vast porch. According to architectural documents this building is belong to 9 century.

Roshtkhar comprehensive mosque
This mosque is located in the eastern part of Roshtkhar. Some believe that this building is a kind of Khanghah, but what is important is that the foundation of this building belongs to Kharazmshaheyan and during Teymoreyan it repaired. There are also altars on column of its dome. Today the only thing which remains from this building is just a porch and a shabestan in the south west corner of it. |
Old house of Gharaie
The old house of Hajj Sultan Gharaie so called Haji Khan Yavar is located in Imam Khomeini Street . This building was built during Ghajareyeh period. It consists of a porch with six columns and also tile and brick decorations.

Historical town of Jeezd
12 kilometers far from Roshtkhar-Khaf road in the southern part of Akbarabad village we come across with ruins of this area (so called old castle of Jizd ). According to historical documents in 737 Hejri this town destroyed by an earthquake. Some hills and surrounding walls of this town is just remained for us

It is located in Jangal one of the Roshtkhar districts 90 kilometers far from it. Because of its capacity people call it central reservoir. The entrance of it is banned now. It belongs to Ghajareyeh period.

Near Akbarabad village 13 kilometers far from the south east of Roshtkhar there is a reservoir which belongs to Ghajareyeh period. Inside it has a circle form space and it paved by brick.

Tomb of Sheykh Imam Gholi In Roshtkhar sangan village in the northern part of Sanjan there is a tomb which belongs to Imam Gholi. Because he predicted the triumph of king Nader in his attack to Harat the king ordered to build a tomb for him. He was a religious leader of his age. The outside view of this building is Hexagon and its internal view is in shape of rectangular. The dome of this building is destroyed. 8 porches with different sizes are located around it. The decoration of it is bricked. |
Tomb of Seyed Ghavam-o-Dean
It is located one kilometer far from northwest of Foogh village, 20 kilometes far from Rooshtkhar province. According to native people believes, he is one of the ancestors of Imam Mosa (peace be upon him). The architectural style of this building shows us that it belongs to 9 th century.
